- こむそう【虚無僧】普化(フケ)宗に属する有髪の托鉢(タクハツ)僧。 天蓋と称する深編み笠をかぶり， 首に袈裟(ケサ)をかけ， 尺八を吹いて諸国を行脚修行した。 江戸時代には武士のみに許され， 浪人者がほとんどであった。 普化僧。 薦僧(コモソウ)。 梵論(ボロ)。 梵論子(ボロンジ)。
